AUDUSD Technicals: Buyers in the AUDUSD are taking more control, but there is work to do

AUDUSD has shown a shift in its technical tone over the past 24 hours, moving from a defensive trade below resistance to a more constructive posture. After spending much of the previous day beneath the 200-hour moving average, the pair has successfully broken above both the 100-hour and 200-hour moving averages, slightly tilting the short-term bias higher. During earlier sessions, sellers had been defending against the 200-hour MA, creating multiple stalls in price. However, during the Asian session, the tone improved significantly as buyers pushed through key levels, leading to a short-term high at 0.71165. The ability to remain above the rising 100-hour and 200-hour MAs around 0.7066 strengthens buyer positioning. For a bolstered bullish case, maintaining above 0.7094-0.70988 is crucial, pushing the focus toward the yearly high of 0.71464. A drop below these moving averages could revert the recent bullish structure.
